5 Fabulous Mother's Day Gifts

In celebration of the most wonderful woman in my life,
(my Mom)
I headed to my local TJ Maxx to find presents
as unique as my lovely mother.

Here are some of the fabulous finds:

1. Fancy Photo Frame

The best part about a picture frame is that you can personalize it
with your favorite picture of you and your mom.
This one has elegant crown-molding features fit for a Queen
and a fun pop of bubble-gum pink.
It's the perfect mix of Fancy & Fun.

2. Yankee Candle: Scent "Mom"

I doubt this candle smells EXACTLY like your Mom,
but it's meant to smell delightful and
be harmonious with your Mother's personality.
You can't go wrong with candles and this one even says "Mom"
This gift is a win/win.

3. A Shoe-Holic Apron

If your mama bear is anything like MY mama,
She loves to cook, kind of likes to clean but mostly just enjoys being stylish.
This is a feisty red and cheetah patterned apron that
Mom's can don for dinner parties and backyard BBQ's to make all of their fellow housewives green with envy.

4. A Random KnickKnack

My mom LOVES random, cute, and FUNNY things that stand out just like her!
I found this amazing little pig with wings and totally fell in love with him.
This pig, whom I've named Quincy, would fit in perfectly at my parents crib.
My Mother has a special place in her heart for things that "stand out" so
that is how I know Quincy is the perfect fit!

5.  CHOCOLATE.

Need I say more?
Ok. I will.
GODIVA CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES.

This bag was only 3 bucks and filled with luxurious expensive chocolate. For over 80 years, Godiva has been known as the premier source for delectable truffles.
If there is one thing I know about Moms,
it's that they LOVE elegant mouth-watering sweets.

TJ Maxx is full of fierce and budget friendly gift's;
from the Belle of the Ball to the Earthy Nature Gal
there is something for everyone.

Work-It Girl! Sexy & Stylin’ Gym Essentials!

Yikes.
It's that time of the year again,
when you have to strip down and show your legs, arms and even - belly.
From Thanksgiving to Valentines day, we all did it.
We packed on the pounds and didn't think twice about
the bikini hiding in the back of your closet.

But don't worry fellow Maxxinista's, TJ's has a solution!

They have all new active wear to get you in the mood to move it.

You will look so cute in your brand new yoga pants
with matching jacket that you will force yourself to go!
Treadmill?
You mean... Catwalk.

Get off your booty girlfriend, and get moving!...
but first make a pitstop at TJ's to get some bright new active wear.

The better you look, the better you will feel!

First, you need to get yourself a great sports bra.
I recommend black with neon trim, it goes with everything and you can't see sweat marks.
The selection is ridiculous at TJ's and you may just feel the need to buy more than one.
They are such a great deal (pretty much half of what you would pay at any other store)

Next, you need to get yourself a water bottle
You need to get a BPA Free water bottle. Here is the deal with BPA

"BPA stands for bisphenol A and is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s. National Toxicology Program at the Department of Health and Human Services says it has "some concern" about the possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children" -The Mayo Clinic

In order to get past this scary situation, just choose BPA free containers. TJ Maxx carries a wide Variety, I found a BPA Free Camelback in the "active" section .

Let's face it,
Working out is can be uber boring
but with the help a great beat pumping through your brand new ear buds
your workout will feel more like a party.
You can get top of the line Skull Candy Ear Buds at TJ Maxx!
With so many to choose from, you can mis-match them to your gym wardrobe!
I bought bright green ones!

Being the best you can be, and pushing yourself to the MAX!

whether you are pumping iron..

or

benching cats,

You can do it!!

Mel, Maxx, & Shopping Therapy

Shopping Therapy is REAL and when I have a tough exam that is stressing me out, all I want to do is walk around TJ Maxx. I want to get lost in the bright colors and unique fashion trends.

As a Maxxinista, I absolutely THRIVE on getting a good deal and staying up to date with the fierce looks. When I am feeling a little down, I know I can go to TJ Maxx and find a special “impulse buy” on my way to the check out. Last time, I picked up a deliciously dark chocolate candy bar, it lifted me up and out of my mid-term depression and into a wonderful land of chocolate indulgence.

In this blog, you will get hints, tips, and tricks from a fellow fashionista – scouring the racks at TJ’s and helping you shop your way to happiness & inner peace!
